Eulogy For Elie Wisel's Father

In Mr.little's class we have been learning about the holocaust and the effects it had on many. To help us understand better we have been reading a book called Night by Elie Wieser. He was a survivor of the holocaust who went through the pain day by day. In the last chapter Elie feels what is it to lose the one who lived through everything with him. He witnesses the death of his father. During this time death is not a surprise to him or anyone else. The death of Shlomo, Elie's father, goes unnoticed. Because of this Mr. Little has asked us to write a eulogy for Shlomo.


After 66 years nothing has changed. The feelings are still there and so are the memories. Shlomo my father, a wise man who lived and supported me. As a young kid i never appreciated my father and his hard work. We were not very close but as times grew harder and we were the only thing we had left to each other things changed. We grew closer by the day and supported each other as we each knew that our lifes could end. Everything was taken from us but we were gratful to still have each other. His death came to me as the end of the world. I lost him and it wasn't easy. I had no family and no friends to support me emotionally. I had no one there. Now that he was gone, all my hope was lost. I made it out alive from the concentration camps. I will never be able to forget that they were the reason for my family's death. It seems like just yesterday we were all still together. I miss them all so much. But I know deep inside that they are all in a better place.
Rest In Peace Shlomo my father..

For or against the Zoo?

For or against the Zoo? Why be against it if all they are trying to do is for the better of us and the animals? I have to agree that the zoo is doing a good thing for the animals. People say that it is a bad thing for the animals but why if all they are doing is protecting them. Even if they are not in there natural habitats they are being protected from the challenges they might face out there. People aren't doing bad in having these animals there. All animals are well taken care of and never have to face the challenge of having to deal with lack of food or not being able to get as much as they need.

Today has been one of the best days ever!!!
i just found out that my big sister is PREGNANT.
i am so happy because she is finaly pregnant and am gonna be an aunt again!!!!!!
yay..!!!!
at first i could not believe it but i found out it was really true!!
this weekend just became one of the best!!!!

it was awesome....except i fell on my knees and on my butt
i went with my sister, her boyfriend, and his sister
i had an awesome time and i hope ill go skating again soon..!!!!!
